Inulin – the compound made up of more than 30 molecules of simple sugars that are linked by β-2,1-glycosidic bonds in an unbranched chain. It is a polysaccharide of plant origin, which is a reserve store. It is a substance that is not digested in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract, which is why it is transported in its undigested form to the large intestine, where it undergoes bacterial fermentation in the colon. Suggested usage:
Dissolve a serving of 5 g (1 scoop) in 150 ml of water. Take one serving per day. Can also be added to smoothies, yoghurts, juices. Drink about 2 l of water per day when taking the food supplement.
